My name is April Andrew, I am a self- taught and teaching artist in the city of Boston. Under a broad array of art mediums, I focus on bringing performance, visual, cosmetic and culinary arts to the communities that I serve.

Art is the way that we document our existence, our unique indifferences and cultural competence takes shape through our authentic expression. Could you imagine your life without color, flavor and texture? Just try to imagine our world without your own identity and means of self expression.

Having taught at many inner city public schools with no budget for art, I come to expose my students to fine arts engagement that they would not otherwise experience.

Navigating this complex world can be a daunting task, but the richness beauty and mixtures of the fabric that we weave creates awareness, creates culture, creates Art.
